Rewarding Volunteerism

When our employees volunteer in the community for causes they are personally committed to, they can receive a donation from Direct Energy for that cause.

We offer our employees up to one hour per month of paid time off to volunteer with a local community organization. Many of our employees volunteer together – creating teams that do everything from serving lunch to the homeless, to lending a hand to Habitat for Humanity, to cleaning our external office areas and local parks on Earth Day.
