Chief Operating Officer, Downstream

As Chief Operating Officer, Downstream, Lois is responsible for Direct Energy’s full profit and loss responsibility for all of the downstream businesses. With IS being a key enabler to realize existing consolidation and growth objectives of the downstream businesses, Lois will also have responsibility for this function.

Her prior experience as head of US operations and Senior Vice-President of Marketing for Direct Energy and a variety of roles in British Gas residential energy business position her to work with the business presidents to build on the success of our downstream lines of business.

Lois joined Direct Energy from AT&T in September 2002. She brought a wealth of experience from the deregulation of the telecommunications industry.  She was instrumental in the integration of the acquisition of CPL and WTU Retail in Texas, and the acquisition of Residential Services Group, now US Home Services. Under her leadership, US operations achieved strong growth and increased operating profits year-over-year.
