Previous Charges and Credits

Previous Balance: Your balance from the previous statement(s).

Payment we processed on (Date): Total payment(s) processed since your last bill date.

Balance Forward: The unpaid balance remaining since last statement date.

Late Payment Penalty (Date): Late fee assessed due to full payment not being received by due date. The current charge is 1.5% of outstanding past due balance.

Current Energy Charges

Energy Use Charges: Total electric charges including energy and delivery charges.

Site ID: A unique 13-digit identifier attached to your electric service.

Days Billed: Total number of days in this billing period for your energy charges.
Please note: The energy charge billing period and the delivery charge billing periods are not the same.

Meter #: Meter number assigned to service your site.

Rate: Please note that this schedule will not correspond with our distribution company's rate schedule. This is your contracted rate per kWh.

Dates: Reading dates for the current billing period.

Total Energy Use Charge: This charge covers the contracted amount of energy that you used during the billing period. Electricity charges are measured in kilowatt hours.

Administration Fee: This covers the costs of systems related to billing you for energy and providing customer service.

UFE Rider: This charge is passed through directly to your distribution company and includes Unaccounted for Energy (UFE) and line loss. UFE is an amount that is charged to the retailer by the ISO (Independent System Operator). It represents loads that are neither metered nor profiled, load loss due to meter inaccuracies, possible theft and any error loss adjustment or profile creation and estimation. Line loss is an amount that is charged to the retailer by the distribution company for the electrical energy that is lost primarily as heat in the distribution wires as electricity is transmitted to the meter.

Current Distributor Charges

Transmission Charge—Wires Service Provider: This charge is passed through directly from your distribution company. It is associated with carrying electricity over the transmission system on a cost per kWh basis; includes the cost of owning, operating and maintaining the transmission assets.

Local Access Fee—Municipality: Fees paid to your municipality for access to rights of way.
