Albertans can choose to receive their Electricity supply in a couple of different ways:

Choose to remain on a regulated electricity rate provided by Direct Energy Regulated Services:

• This is known as the Regulated Rate Option (RRO)
• Electricity commodity rates reviewed monthly by the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) and subject to monthly adjustments for market price fluctuation.

Choose an Energy plan from a competitive retailer:

• Choose from a variety of price plan options
• With a fixed price plan, stable and secure pricing throughout the life of your plan protects you from potential price fluctuations on the Government approved regulated rates.
• Consumption may vary, but unit price won't on a fixed rate plan
• Retailers may offer incentives

Whether you choose to stay with a regulated Electricity supply from Direct Energy Regulated Services or choose to purchase Electricity from a competitive retailer, ATCO Electric will continue to deliver your Electricity.
