Customer Choice

Albertans can choose to receive their Natural Gas supply in a couple of different ways:

Choose to remain on the variable regulated Natural Gas rate provided by Direct Energy Regulated Services:

• Pay a Natural Gas commodity rate reviewed monthly by the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC)
  
  
• Natural Gas commodity rates fluctuate monthly based on forecast market price and weather and are subject to adjustment for actual price and weather.
  
  
• You will be eligible for Alberta government Natural Gas rebates

Choose an Energy plan from a competitive retailer:

• Stable and secure pricing throughout the life of your plan protects you from potential price fluctuations on the Government approved regulated rates.
  
  
• Consumption may vary, but unit price won't on a fixed rate energy plan
  
  
• You will still be eligible for Alberta government Natural Gas rebates

Whether you choose to stay with a regulated Natural Gas supply from Direct Energy Regulated Services or choose to purchase Natural Gas from a competitive retailer, ATCO Gas will continue to deliver your Natural Gas.
