Rates are filed each month with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC).
Direct Energy Regulated Services is regulated by the AUC.
The revenue that Direct Energy Regulated Services collects from its customers to cover costs of providing service must be approved by the AUC. Each month, we file our forecast for the following month’s natural gas rates with the AUC for their review.
Once the AUC determines that these rates are set in accordance with approved procedures, they will be in effect on the first of the following month. We then publish them on this website under Current Rates. For more information on the review process, please visit the .
