The Government of British Columbia wants to give businesses, like yours, more choice in the natural gas market. As a result, the Customer Choice initiative was launched to help you meet your businesses' natural gas needs and operational practices. The term "Customer Choice" refers to separating the existing service of supply from delivery — allowing customers to select their preferred source of supply. That means you'll be able to buy natural gas from your natural gas marketer of choice. Who Is Eligible For The Natural Gas Commodity Unbundling Program?
All Terasen Gas commercial customers classified as Rate 2 in the Lower Mainland and Interior B.C. (except Fort Nelson, Revelstoke, Vancouver Island, and PNG) are eligible for the Natural Gas Customer Choice Program.
- RATE 2 - commercial customers with a normalized consumption at one Premise of less than 2,500 Gigajoules per year.
