Our promise is to operate in British Columbia with the highest level of ethical and legal standards with zero tolerance for improper sales practices. Our promise is supported by a robust sales process that ensures the highest level of professionalism. This includes:
- Our Energy Associates are licensed members of the Canadian Professional Sales Association
- Our Energy Associates have completed rigorous in-house training and certification
- Each Energy Associate commits in writing to make sales presentations that are honest, clear and presented without undue pressure
- Each customer who signs an energy contract through an Energy Associate will be contacted by an independent third party to confirm the sale and quality check the customer’s sales experience
- Direct Energy complies with the Rules for Gas Marketers and the Code of Conduct for Gas Marketers as set out by the British Columbia Utilities Commission
