How it Works:
Air is drawn into the unit through the air return duct by your furnace and then passes through a UV dust filter that traps and kills larger particles including dust, moulds, fungi and yeasts. The air then passes through a UV kill chamber, where UV light destroys viruses, bacteria and chemicals.
Next, the purified air passes through a UV pleated filter, which traps and destroys virtually all remaining microorganisms. Finally, the air passes through a charcoal filter, which removes odours.
For added protection, the optional A-Coil UV Module mounts above the air conditioning evaporator coil in your furnace, killing micro-organisms such as moulds and bacteria that build up on the coil surfaces and in the drip pan.
