Direct Energy Buzz September 6 Edition

Happy Friday! Hopefully you’ve had a great week so far. In today’s Direct Energy Buzz we’ll recap the news of the week, give you some great energy tips and introduce this week’s Hot Job!

Monday was Labor Day and we made our celebrations green! How did you spend your last day of summer? On Wednesday, we shared a few last minute back-to-school shopping tips. Set an example for your kids by purchasing green school supplies or reusing supplies from last year!

We had some exciting news on Thursday! We announced the acquisition of AWHR, the largest independent water heater rental business in the U.S. We also introduced the second annual Columbus Volunteer Citizen of the year award program. If you know a deserving volunteer in the Columbus area, click here for more information!

Now for this week’s Hot Job! If you’re looking for work in the Pittsburgh area, we may have the job for you! We’re hiring an issue resolution analyst with great customer service skills and one to three years of experience. If this sounds like you, click here to apply!
