At Direct Energy, we are committed to making a difference in people’s lives. That being said, Pittsburgh’s Direct Energy employees were given a challenge – raise $15,000 during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for Making Strides Against Cancer – and they not only did well, they did good!
Code named Project Pink, a group of individuals agreed to get their hair “Pinked” as incentives for employees to contribute. The dedication of our employees and staff has been incredible throughout this challenge and they have managed to reach every goal set before them. We are extremely proud of our Direct Energy team and their commitment to reaching this goal.
A special thanks to the following Direct Energy employees for graciously dying their locks (and even beards) pink!
- Julie Shabat- pink at the $1,000 mark
- Emma Canter- pink at the $5,000 mark
- Dave Roberts, John Zanone, Jim DeLong, Jim Saints, Michael D’Aurizo and Tim Strimel- pink at the $10,000 mark
- Maura Clark- pink at the 15,000 mark
While on the topic of health, don’t forget that about our Third Annual Movember Mustache Competition!
