Make Your Winter Decor Solar-Powered
With the arrival of winter weather, the perfect decorative touch to accompany this wonderful time of year are classic white holiday lights. While the 100-strand lights are nice, all it takes is for one of those lights to go out to ruin the whole strand.
For your holiday decorations this year, choose lighting that provides the same ambiance, but with an energy-efficient twist – the Luci Light! This solar-powered, inflatable, and waterproof light from MPOWERD™ can provide up to 12 hours of light when fully charged by the sun. Luci doesn’t require batteries and can be a great accent to both the inside and outside of your home, or you can use it on the go!
Enjoy these five inventive ways to inject some freshness to your winter decor, but remember: make sure you charge your Luci lights fully in the sunlight before you use them.
1) Light a Centerpiece
Place a Luci or two in the middle of the table and then surround the light(s) with fresh pieces of pine branches. Incorporate some holly berries, pine cones, or any other seasonally appropriate touches into the pine branches to create a nice festive centerpiece.
2) Light a Tree
Skip the hassle of untangling and wrapping those multiple strands of lights, and instead, use the Luci Winter for a stress-free way to light up any holiday tree. This option comes in three decorative styles with five color options – bright white, warm white, blue, purple, and orange – all of which can serve as the perfect accent to your tree.
3) Create Outdoor Ambiance
The time and hassle, not to mention energy, it takes to wrap dozens of strands of white lights around trees, bushes, and other locations in your yard can be saved by using the Luci Outdoor instead. Simply inflate the lights, tie them to string, and hang them in ways you feel will bring warmth to your holiday decorations.
4) Accent with Candles
Candlelight adds such a warm and soothing feel to any space – whether it’s your patio, dining table, or bookshelves. However, they’re not always the safest or most practical decorative addition. Opt for the Luci Candle this year! This flameless candle provides the warm amber glow of candlelight without the use of fire or batteries.
5) Light a Glass Vase
One of my favorite decorating tricks is to fill a glass vase with seasonal items for a particular season or holiday and then place a candle in the middle of the vase. For winter holiday decorations, use pine cones, cranberries, or extra ornaments, and rather than topping with a candle, use a Luci Lux, Luci Color, or one of the other Luci lights we’ve mentioned already.
And don’t forget! When you sign up with Direct Energy on our Give Brighter plan, we’ll send a Luci Light to people in parts of the world who are in need of clean, reliable sources of light. And you’ll receive one as well!
