The 2014 Direct Energy Charity Roundup

It’s been a wonderful year here at Direct Energy, and we are glad we were able to give back this year through our social media efforts.

  • In May, we donated $1 to the USO for every letter written to a USO serviceman or woman through our Facebook form.
  • In September, we supported Child Advocates’ 30th anniversary by donating $0.30 for every Facebook “Like” we received in September, $0.30 for every share of our posts, and an additional $30 for everyone who signed up using promo code “30for30”.
  • In October, Direct Energy donated $1 for every new “Like” on our Facebook page to Susan G. Komen along with $50 for everyone who signed up using promo code “SGK2014”.
  • In November, Direct Energy partnered with the USO again by donating $1 for every new Facebook “Like” and Twitter follower received that month.

We are excited to announce that Direct Energy raised $31,460.30 for these worthy organizations. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to help out these charities, and we are looking forward to more charity involvement in 2015.
