What will happen to the deposit I paid when I enrolled with Direct Energy Business?

For your convenience, Direct Energy Business will transition your deposit, including accrued interest, to Direct Energy LP. This means you will NOT have to pay an additional deposit due to the switch. Your deposit will continue to accrue interest and will be returned after 12 consecutive on-time payments, including months of on-time payments made to Direct Energy Business. After you have completed a combined 12 months of on-time payments for your service with Direct Energy Business and your service with Direct Energy LP, Direct Energy LP will return your deposit.
