How do I add another person to my account?

For your protection, Direct Energy customer service representatives will not disclose any information regarding your account or discuss your account with anyone else besides you.

If you would like to add another person to your Direct Energy account, use the following steps:

  • Go to Your Plan and Account Information
  • Go to "Edit Authorized Contact" and add the person's name and phone number.
  • If you would like added security, you can have your authorized contact remember a password to provide a customer service representative when discussing your account. Enter this password into the "Authorized Password" field.
