Report a power outage

Report a power outage

Texas customers - TDSP contact information

Smart meter technology is designed to automatically alert your Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) when your power goes out.

Immediately report dangerous conditions, like fallen power lines or poles, to your TDSP, and stay at least 35 feet away.

What is a TDSP or utility company?

A TDSP (utility company) delivers electricity to you

The electricity you buy from Direct Energy or any other retail electricity provider is delivered to your home or business by the infrastructure —including wires, transformers and poles — maintained by your local TDSP.
