No. Free Days and Free Nights are separate plans and can’t be combined. You’ll want to choose the option that best matches when your home uses the most electricity.

Direct Energy offers a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. If you find that your plan does not fit your needs, you can switch to a different eligible plan within the first 90 days of enrolling.

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. The best place to start is by reviewing your past electricity bills to understand your average monthly kWh usage.

In Texas, many plans are priced around usage levels such as 500 kWh, 1,000 kWh or 2,000 kWh, so knowing where you typically fall can help you compare plans more accurately.

Once you enroll in a term-based plan, your plan stays in place for the length of the term unless you cancel early, which may include an early termination fee.

The best plan is one that aligns with how your home actually uses energy. Choosing a plan based on your energy usage patterns can help you avoid unexpected costs on your bill.

A Free Nights plan may be a good fit if you use more electricity in the evening or overnight hours. This can include activities like laundry, cooking or charging devices after peak daytime hours.

Fixed-rate plans offer the same energy charge for the length of your contract term, which can make monthly bills more predictable.

Free electricity plans are a type of time-of-use plan. They offer no-cost electricity during specific hours, with a fixed-energy charge applying outside of those periods.

The Free Days plan may be a good option if you’re home during the day and use most of your electricity between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
