Frequently Asked Questions
If you referred a friend to Direct Energy:
- You will receive your $50 bill credit on the next bill after the person you referred has successfully enrolled with Direct Energy on a term plan and remained a customer for 10 days, then you will receive your $50 bill credit on the next bill.
If you were referred by your friend to Direct Energy:
- You are eligible for your $50 bill credit after being a customer for 10 days on a term plan and will receive the credit on your next bill.
There are no limits. For every eligible referral that is successful, you get a $50 bill credit. It's that simple. All you need is your unique Refer-a-Friend ID which can be found on your Direct Energy statement or within your Online Account Manager.
The $50 bill credit will be applied specifically to the usage kWh portion of your bill and cannot be used to satisfy the payment of fees and/or service charges.
Qualified Referral must satisfy all Direct Energy enrollment requirements and remain a Direct Energy customer on a term plan for at least 10 consecutive days.
